I was for a month living in a world void of news, the monotony of training overseas is such that I have no interest in anything beyond the number of hours I get to sleep I can squeeze in a day...
But hopefully that should all be over, after I get over this stubborn jet-lag (I have been this way since arrival in the morning).

I sincerely hope that you don't lose the idealism in you: a dream of a perfect system is the guiding light for all of us in this world of chaos...
The world is worth this blind trust.
with the sedition act and the white elephant saga, i think it's much safer to tone down one's idealism, at leasti n singapore
Hmm... Idealism doesn't have to be expressed. It is hope, a target state to be achieved, even if nobody talks about it.
So, just like all the racists out there, all those beacons of light would just need to burn secretly.
